John B Blick, DVM
Veterinarian
I grew up the 7th of 9 kids on the family farm near Wichita, KS. I enjoyed all the farm animals and pets growing up, and decided to pursue veterinary medicine when I attended KSU. After graduating with my doctorate in veterinary medicine, I moved to TX for more opportunities. I wanted to own my own practice, and became the co-owner of Colleyville Animal Clinic in November of 1989.
I’m between pets at the moment, but enjoying my “grand-pets”: Juliet, a King Charles Cavalier weighing only 9lbs; James, the orange tabby with half a tail; and Dirk, the golden retriever that loves to play ball (just like his namesake Dirk Nowitsky!).
I enjoy fishing, playing & watching sports, and activities with my family: wife, 4 grown children, and 3 grandsons.
Dr. Blick has completed additional training in small animal cardiology, veterinary dentistry, and feline medicine.
